Display a message for users who are going to logon

This tip will work on both XP and Win7

You can display a message for users who are going to logon your machine.

This message will be displayed after the system starts and before the login screen appears.

Open control panel.

Select administrative tools.

Open local security policies.

Or simply go to run. Type ‘secpol.msc’.

 

In the Local Security Policies window………

Select local policies, and select security options

Now in the right pane search for ‘interactive logon: Message title for users attempting to log on’

This is the title of the message. Double click on the policy and give the title which you want to give.

Then select ok.

Now we have to give the message

Select ‘interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on’ policy.

Give the message body in the box. Select ok.

Now restart the system, the message will be displayed before logon screen.
